Thank You...

As 2007 comes to a close, I wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helped make fusion|atl happen! To every church that hosted the event...To everyone who was involved in ANY way...and of course to EVERYONE who came to fusion|atl...THANK YOU!
I was overwhelmed at the response that fusion|atl received. I appreciate every e-mail and comment left on the site of young people all over the Atlanta area who came and received something from God. To every Pastor, Youth Pastor and Youth Worker who supported the Vision with your support physically and spiritually in prayer, I'm forever grateful.
I stood there at the last fusion|atl for 2007 at Revival Center in Lawrenceville, Ga and watched young people shouting all over the Sanctuary and I knew fusion|atl had become something special for each and every young person who put forth the effort to fight traffic, change work schedules, etc to make it there.
We're only going to have 2 fusion|atl's next year but we're striving to blow each of them out of the water! Be sure to write the dates down and make plans NOW to attend fusion|atl next year. If you've NEVER been yet, just ask someone who's been before about it and let them try to explain the Vision that has become a Movement that we simply call...fusion|atl!
The Dates and Locations for 2008 are:
March 28th @ Revival Center (Lawrenceville) @ 8PM
September 19th @ Atlanta West (Lithia Springs) @ 8PM
Keep checking back periodically for any updates and BLOGS regarding fusion|atl!

the last fusion|atl sees GRACE EMBRACED and the Spirit poured out!
There were those who doubted the vision. Some were confused about it's purpose. But when the last fusion atl was finally finished and I got in my car at 11:15 PM no one could deny the impact that 4 services made in the lives of young people all over the Atlanta area. As a matter of fact, we had a young girl from Athens who came for the first time receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost!
Some 118 young people (including chaperones and a few OLD FOLKS...LOL) packed into Revival Center and from 8PM until the lights went out it was a steady progression into the Presence of God.
Dale Cole opened it up with Rhythm & DANCING (you'd have to have been there to believe it)! Then the Worship Team took it from there, along with Revival Center's Youth Choir and they sang with anointing to usher us in and prepare us for Augusta's Sign Team. At this point, all you can reall say is WOW! The Sign Team was so anointed and they took the service to the next level! About middle way thru their song, the place erupted and there were young people shouting all over the building. (It was definately one of those moments as a Leader that you looked at what was happening and it reminded you of the reason WHY you do what you do...)
Then I took it from there and simply delivered what God had given me for this Generation... NOT a message with a catchy title (I didn't even have a title if you can believe it) but a WORD from God...actually two words became the theme as the night unfolded...EMBRACE GRACE!
In case you weren't there or even if you were and you'd like to do some more studying on the scriptures I used, I'll give them to you:
2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (NIV)
Romans 3:22-23 (NLT)
Romans 5:1-2, 6-8, 20-21 (NIV)
Ephesians 2:1-5, 8-9 (NIV)
Acts 3:19-20 (NLT)
It's time for us to STOP pretending we're better than we really are! Stop feeling the need to ACT like you have it all together, when you don't! Stop living in condemnation and guilt! Everyone makes mistakes, and I mean EVERYONE! EVERYONE falls from time to time, but you don't have to stay down...EMBRACE GRACE! Instead of running from God when you've sinned...EMBRACE GRACE! Instead of pretending you're perfect when EVERYONE knows differently...EMBRACE GRACE!
You don't have to fear being human or wondering what people will think when you admit your weaknesses...just EMBRACE GRACE, because it's TRUE, it's by GRACE that we're SAVED! Another cool thing about Grace (to me) is the most amazing form is not even the GRACE that SAVES us as much as the GRACE that KEEPS us! Romans 5:2 describes it as the "GRACE in which we now stand!"
So, remove the weights that are dragging you down. Repent of the sin in your life. EMBRACE GRACE!
Before I let you go, let me just say one more THANK YOU to everyone who came to fusion atl and supported the DREAM! THANK YOU to every musician and singer who practiced extra hours and drove all over town to make it happen. THANK YOU to every church and Pastor who hosted a fusion atl. THANK YOU for your support.
Embracing Grace,

OVER 300 UNITE for fusion|atl in Conyers

I was a little nervous going into to this fusion|atl because we had taken off all summer for Camps and other youth events. I was hoping for atleast 200 people to show up and WOW was I amazed at the turn out. I was told that we had OVER 300 in attendance Friday night at our 3rd fusion|atl for 2007! I remember looking back during the Worship and seeing people lined up against the wall, and watching some young men put chairs down the aisle, and I realized once again that this is a HUNGRY Generation that's ready to see Jesus do His thing!
Besides the attendance record, my dream of seeing different Oneness groups come together also happened! We had some Independent Apostolic, ALJC, and UPC churches represented...it had to make God smile.
Before I share a little of what we talked about Friday night (for those who MISSED it), let me take a little time to THANK some special people. THANK YOU to the fusion Worship Team, to the Revival Center Sign Team, to Atlanta West's Youth Choir/Sign Team, and all of the people who helped make this fusion|atl a great success. THANK YOU to Micahael Patterson and the Faith Tabernacle crew who hosted the event and helped with set-up, sound, and cleaning up afterwards. THANK YOU to Kenny French (www.paradox-studios.org) who produced the fusion|atl Video Promo posted on YouTube, and my personal EC page. (Thanks in advance too for the NEW Video Promo we're already working on)
In case you weren't there, I titled my message, "The Power of ONE!" I read from (John 17:18-23/ NIV) where it says, “As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
20 "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
Jesus’ prayer for the generation standing in front of him and for the generations to come was for them to understand “The Power of ONE!” His prayer was for the generations of believers to preach Jesus Christ and focus on their oneness; for the believers to be in complete unity with each other!
I asked our generation some questions like:
What would happen if our generation became “color blind?”
What would happen if our generation erased denominal lines?
What would happen if our generation traded religion for relationship?
What would happen if our generation traded traditions for truth?
What would happen if our generation stopped “going to church” and BECAME the church?
What would happen if our generation stopped protecting the Gospel and started PROCLAIMING the Gospel?
What would happen if our generation stopped being members of our churches and started being Missionaries for Jesus Christ?
What would happen if our generation talked about Jesus as much as we talk about everything else?
What would happen if our generation stopped judging one another for our differences and our lack of “sameness” and supported each other because of our oneness?
What would happen if our generation were to release some John the Baptists who would preach with out compromise the message of Repentance and Baptism and simply point everybody to Jesus?
What would happen if our generation would get Peter “off the roof” and delivered from his “rooftop religion” so he could give Cornelius and the whole house full of “HUNGRY” people the message they were ready to receive and the Spirit fell while Peter was speaking and everyone in the house was filled with the Spirit and began speaking in other tongues?
What would happen if our generation received tonight, the revelation of “The Power of ONE?”
ONE LORD
ONE FAITH
ONE BAPTISM
ONE GOD
ONE SPIRIT
ONE MISSION
ONE MESSAGE
ONE BODY
ONE VOICE
So whether you have ONE Service or Two Services on Sunday it doesn’t matter!
Whether you like Black Gospel, Contemporary or Country Worship Music it doesn’t matter!
Whether you have strobe lights, can lights, fluorescent lights or use FLASH LIGHTS it doesn’t matter!
Jesus did NOT PRAY that we would be the SAME…He PRAYED that we would be ONE! He prayed that we would be UNIFIED! He prayed that we would experience fusion!
Remember the definition of fusion is a merging of diverse elements into a unified whole; an occurrence that involves the production of a union; the act of fusing (or melting) together.
So, fusion|atl is a merging together of diverse elements (different churches, different styles, different personalities) into a unified whole or union!
fusion|atl is about young people in the Atlanta area coming together and forgetting about our differences, our youth group names, what church we're from or what label we carry! It's about coming together and realizing that IF we are going to leave a mark on our world then we had better join hands and hearts and start doing something NOW!
What would happen in the State of Georgia IF this Generation became ONE?
What would happen in our cities IF this Generation became ONE?
What would happen in our local churches IF this Generation became ONE?
What would God be able to accomplish thru this Generation IF we became ONE?
May Jesus' prayer be answered thru this generation of Believers as we UNITE together for the purpose of pointing people to Jesus Christ! It is still all about Him...

the movement continues...

Make plans NOW to be apart of the next step in the journey we're calling fusion|atl as it comes to Conyers, GA on Friday night, September 7th @ 8PM! God is speaking. We are listening. We are becoming the church God had in mind!
Join young people from all over the Atlanta area and beyond as we fuse together for a night of Worship! On this night, what church we're from will NOT matter. What our youth group's name isn't an issue. We don't care whether you've been in the "church" all your live or just getting started. fusion|atl is not an organization or institution, it's a movement to encourage this generation and the generations to come to stop going to church and doing church and start BEING the church! fusion|atl is about making the necessary changes in out attitudes and mentalities so we can show our schools, college campuses, work places, neighborhoods and communities JESUS CHRIST!
See you @ fusion|atl!
Moving Forward,

140+ come out for fusion|atl Communion
Traffic was horrible. The road work was messy. But after the service started the only thing on our mind was creating an atmosphere of Worship that would unleash the POWER and PRESENCE of God! Needless to say, God moved in the midst of an anointed drama led by Rebecca Scott and some of the Oak Park youth that opened the floodgates of Heaven. The Spirit began to move and young people began flooding the altars with hands raised and tears flowing down their faces. This Spirit outpouring opened up the door for Pastor Scott to encourage the young people with one word: qualified. Pastor Scott begin to minister about how Calvary qualified each of us to have relationship with Jesus Christ. Our works don't qualify us. How good we've been doesn't qualify us. The only things that qualify us is the broken body and Blood of Jesus Christ!
My dream became a reality as I watched 140+ young people gather together at fusionatl in an altar with tears streaming down their faces thanking God for the gift He willingly gave at Calvary. Young people stood side by side in the altar with no agendas and NO LIMITS to what God has promised them as a generation.
So, THANK you Oak Park and Pastor Scott for opening the doors of your church and allowing fusionatl to come together. Thank you to all of you who sang, played instruments, acted in the drama, ministered, ushered, ran sound, ran IT, picked up pizza, set-up, served, and cleaned up! I appreciate all of your help, and for not only supporting fusionatl but believing in the Dream!
Thank you to every young person and church which was represented. I appreciate you coming. Be sure to pass the word on about what God is doing thru fusionatl and bring some more with you in September for the next fusionatl.
Be sure to make plans now to attend the NEXT fusionatl on Friday night, September 7th @ Faith Tabernacle in Conyers, GA.
Empowering the NEXT Generation,
