Traffic was horrible. The road work was messy. But after the service started the only thing on our mind was creating an atmosphere of Worship that would unleash the POWER and PRESENCE of God! Needless to say, God moved in the midst of an anointed drama led by Rebecca Scott and some of the Oak Park youth that opened the floodgates of Heaven. The Spirit began to move and young people began flooding the altars with hands raised and tears flowing down their faces. This Spirit outpouring opened up the door for Pastor Scott to encourage the young people with one word: qualified. Pastor Scott begin to minister about how Calvary qualified each of us to have relationship with Jesus Christ. Our works don't qualify us. How good we've been doesn't qualify us. The only things that qualify us is the broken body and Blood of Jesus Christ!
My dream became a reality as I watched 140+ young people gather together at fusionatl in an altar with tears streaming down their faces thanking God for the gift He willingly gave at Calvary. Young people stood side by side in the altar with no agendas and NO LIMITS to what God has promised them as a generation.
So, THANK you Oak Park and Pastor Scott for opening the doors of your church and allowing fusionatl to come together. Thank you to all of you who sang, played instruments, acted in the drama, ministered, ushered, ran sound, ran IT, picked up pizza, set-up, served, and cleaned up! I appreciate all of your help, and for not only supporting fusionatl but believing in the Dream!
Thank you to every young person and church which was represented. I appreciate you coming. Be sure to pass the word on about what God is doing thru fusionatl and bring some more with you in September for the next fusionatl.
Be sure to make plans now to attend the NEXT fusionatl on Friday night, September 7th @ Faith Tabernacle in Conyers, GA.
